United Arab Emirates, Dubai, May 14, 2025: Chalhoub Group announced the launch of its annual Sustainability Report for 2024. The verified report represents the Group’s 11 th edition, prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) Standards Core while showcasing Chalhoub Group’s concerted efforts towards achieving its United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Focusing on three critical pillars of People, Partners, and Planet, the 2024 Sustainability Report details the Group’s advancements in its comprehensive Chalhoub Impact sustainability strategy, deepening the integration of its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals across all levels of its operations.
Chalhoub Group reports a recorded 37% response rate of suppliers using the Supplier Sustainability Scorecard, exceeding the 35% target, driving change through partnerships that are anchored in collaboration, innovation, and shared value creation. Additionally, the Group has integrated enhanced data collection techniques to ensure precision and comparability across all metrics deemed material, aligning with GRI and SBTi methodologies. As part of its Brand Partner Sustainability Engagement Programme, the Group engaged with 44% of its scope 3-related brand partners that do not yet hold an SBTi commitment, fostering alignment and raising awareness of shared sustainability goals.

Recognised by HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, Chalhoub Group earned the Parent-friendly Label in 2024, reaffirming the people first approach that is central to the Group’s business model. This initiative offers extended maternity (90 days) and paternity (30 days) leaves, flexible work options, and comprehensive family wellbeing support that go beyond the region’s standard policies. With a steadfast commitment to the well-being of all team members, accessibility has long been a priority for Chalhoub Group. With over 400 accessibility features integrated across its offices and retail spaces and the employment of 34 People of Determination, the Group continuously advances its accessibility efforts, fostering a culture of belonging and inclusivity.

Our Brand Partner Engagement Programme continues to foster collaborative emissions-reduction strategies across our value chain, and ecologically, we have deepened our commitment to biodiversity.”
Additionally, Chalhoub Group has made significant strides in its environmental efforts, sponsoring 58.6m² of coral reef restoration as part of its first biodiversity project, with a long-term goal of restoring 500m² by 2030. This reflects the Group’s broader Net Zero commitment, which aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040, guided by science-based targets and supported by a clear, validated roadmap. The Group continues to refine its methodologies, enhance data precision, and implement impactful initiatives to drive measurable emissions reductions across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
